Today we had a party for my mothers 90 birthday! Amazingly everyone we invited came! Everything went great and she enjoyed herself!

Diane and Cheryl said they were coming over and bringing dinner BUT I thought they said Thursday not Wednesday so they caught me in my warm ups relaxing! It was great talking to them!

Since I have been home I have been preparing for the 90 birthday party! I sure hope I ordered enough food!

Not sure the last night dessert helped his sugar levels but it sure made him smile!

Allegiant Airlines

The three of us flew home Sunday morning at 7AM!

We spent the night in Punta Gorda at PG Waterfront Hotel located about 10 minutes from the airport so we could sleep later and be rested. As always the best laid plans did not work real well! There was a great restaurant with patio seating right on the water. We ate both lunch and dinner there and enjoyed the view. At lunch there was live music that we enjoyed BUT after dinner there was a band that was so loud we couldn't hear the TV in our room! The band played until 1 AM! We couldn't sleep!!! Then the people across the hall were so Loud! We got little sleep and thought we might sleep on the plane. 

Our seats on the plane got messed up but a young man was nice enough to trade seats so I could be by my parents! Two rows ahead of us was a two year old that screamed the entire flight! No sleep John picked us up with donuts so that helped! I got them settled at home and left them to sleep and I went home and rested!

Here on Sanibel the tradition is that the guys cook and serve the ladies breakfast! Today these happy ladies are about to eat! Diane, Carole's cousin flies down every year to enjoy this ritual! Anne ,from Kentucky, is squeezed between the Tennessee cousins.

OI have had bronchitis for the last two weeks. It has really made me weak,

but I think today might be the turning point! Hope!

While I've been sick Duf has been an amazing nurse! He has not only waited on me but also kept me surrounded by beautiful flowers!

Natalie's last day

Today our Natalie must return to the cold weather. She is flying out of Tampa so we can stop at Parkside for ice cream and strawberries, get cigars for Phillip in Ybor and beer only brewed once for Derek. 

Her plane had mechanical problems so the home arrival was delayed about 3 hours but she did arrive safely and was reunited with Elcie!
