It’s Friday night and we have a choice of watching TV or playing Bingo and we decided on Bingo. This is a 55+ community and over 200 people turned out for Bingo!
We get the minimum of six cards per game for the 10 games. Each game is different, such as: one game is called 13 and to win the card must be filled in to look like 13. One game was airplane and that meant the squares would be filled in to look like an airplane. Another game was blackout or all squares must be filled and there was also X. Two difficult games were Postage Stamp anywhere or a six square square and floating nine.
After five games there is an ice cream break and a drawing. Duffey won the $5.00 drawing! Our big family winnings! Our neighbor, Wanda, won the blackout game and $198.00!
It’s a fun night and we met some new people. In Sanibel we are usually home alone by 8 but here in Surprise we played Bingo and didn’t get home till 10! Wild Times!!!!
