Bradenton

We have arrived in Bradenton at the Encore RV park. The park is a great place to stop, but the office staff is not friendly. After getting settled into our spot we headed over to visit Gerald and Anne. Crazy how time flies, we arrived before noon, planned to go to lunch and then sat and talked until 7:00! At this point we were not hungry enough to go out to dinner so we talked more and went to bed! 

Day two of our visit started with me getting in the generator compartment so I could remove the headlight that was burned out! It was not that difficult once I figured out what had to be done to get the lamp out. Duf explained it all to me and I finally got the idea that the bulb is really a small light embedded into bulb with lots of wires connected to it. Duf was frustrated because his shoulder was hurting and he could not bend his arm to reach in and get the light or help me. 

Next we headed to Gerald and Anne’s house for a drive to Plant City for strawberries and ice cream! Delicious! 

Again we talked on and on and the next thing we knew it was 7 and time to eat again. This meal was the meal to pay the yearly bet Duf and Gerald have on NASCAR. It seems they trade off winning the bet for a burger dinner and this time Duffey had to pay. We ate at Geckos and the burgers were delicious!
