Another football game, the first game in the Regionals and Phil helped coach Hononegah to another win. It was the type of game that allowed the coaches to let ALL the players get time in the game.
Today was a cold wet day with a 14 mph wind blowing. We were all dressed warm so it was a pleasant football day. EXCEPT!! The couple seated in front of us had a son and his wife, both in their late thirties, show up to the game. They were dressed for the weather but they had a baby girl, she was almost one, and she only had a sweatshirt and sweatpants on. Her ankles and legs were out, her hands were not covered, her head was not covered! This baby was shivering and her chin was shaking! Grandma held her in a blanket but the parents did not seem to even realize she was cold. At half time the grandparents finally convinced the parents to take the child home. OMG I was so mad at them. One lady reported them but nothing happened to help the child.
