Apple Season

Natalie decided I need to get out of the house so she took me to an Apple Orchard down by DeKalb. She had been there before for an 8 mile run where they ran up and down the rows of apple trees. She said it was hard because of the roots and uneven land.
We took a wagon ride out to the area where they had powerful air guns that shot apples at targets and all around the orchard. While we drank apple slashes, that were delicious, we watched the kids play on all the available toys.
At the entrance there were fenced in areas with fire pits, picnic tables and a food prep area that were for rent. One was under a roof in case of rain. On the day we were there the Boy Scouts were using all of the fire pits!

Since Natalie had already been here she knew that Elcie was not invited!
