Sept 26
We began the day walking around a car show in front of the museum. There were so many old fixed up cars that it was fun to compare them. The owners all went for a tour of the museum making us very happy we took our tour yesterday.
Joe and Tanna, friends from Sanibel, live in Lincoln, NE about 20 minutes from us, so we have decided to spend the day with them. First wedrove to their new home and were given a tour. Tanna is a true quilter and her lower level is perfect for her amazing hobby. After a nice lunch we headed for the University of Nebraska and walked all around their football complex. A gate was open so we all slipped out onto the football field. After walking around the sports complex Joe gave us a driving tour of the area and then we stopped for ice cream.
We arrived back at their home, visited and snacked a bit, and then we headed back to the RV’s where we found a note on our door. The note said they felt we should only stay two nights, we were on night three, and wondered when we would be leaving.
We are on the field!
Legend says that if a girl graduates without being kissed these columns will fall!
This is how they spruce up an alley!
We could not resist the ice cream shop!
This was above the toilet but the toilet did flush itself!
