It has been over 103 degrees in Phoenix for the last five days. It is now 8:00 and the temp. has dropped to 98, it is still hot. We have been visiting Duffey’s mother, she is 95 and still lives on her own and drives! YIKES We tried to convince her a taxi would work but she would not listen; she is still very sharp and independent. It was sad leaving her tonight, she cried because we were leaving. If we stayed much longer she would probably cheer when we left, we are making her tired! Each day here we have taken her places and twice we have accompanied her to her line dance class. Tomorrow morning we will surprise her with breakfast, show her the motorhome, and leave.

Tomorrow we leave for Flagstaff and the hope that the temperature there will be way below 100.
