Today the four explores went to Petroglyph National Monument to view the Petroglyph or rock pictures that are 800 years old. The pictures were almost destroyed for a subdivision but they were discovered and saved. We climbed to the top of the mountain to see these historical pictures.
Old Town Albuquerque is a very vibrant place. We walked the streets and took pictures of the bronze statues, listened to the music, and stopped for margaritas at a historic hotel.
After all of our explorations we had dinner at a local STEAKHOUSE that was once featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives!
We made it to the top of the mountain without much of a trail!
