Duf has been searching the net for a new exciting place to stay next winter. Today we decided to take a drive and check out 5 places. Carole and Jerry joined us on this adventure and it is always fun when they are along!
We found the grass is not always greener someplace else. Here we have an airy, spacious, rustic, quaint, beach feeling. The places we visited were beautiful. My feel was we were in acres that had been beautifully landscaped, but were a bit cramped and didn’t have the quaint feeling. None of them were close to the beach and we like to spend time relaxing on the beach. Some had nice pools and clubhouses with activities, but all were way more expensive than our island paradise. Our conclusion thus far is that we want to be warm, feel comfy, be by the water, and enjoy our island friends!
