This evening, as we look out the window, and see mountains all around us ,we understand why they say the mountains are walking quickly this year. The mountains have had many landslides along the way into Denali. Some of the slides have taken out train tracks, others have moved streams and some are very close to the highway. This old wooden trellis has withstood many years of landslides and it looks to be spared for another year.
