Today we travel 126 miles from Fairbanks to Denali National Park. Just as we were leaving Fairbanks, right along the highway, we saw a Moose! 

 It was a  cloudy day so we did not get a view of Mt. McKinley, North America’s highest mountain (20,320 ft). On the way to Denali we passed through Nenana but were not able to get into the Nenana Ice Classic Sweepstakes, guessing the exact minute for the ice breakup on the Tanana River. Right around Dry Creek Bridge we spotted a moose and her two young. Duf got so excited he turned the RV around so we could go back and see them longer. Quite a site. 

We are not 250 miles south of the Arctic Circle!
