Outside Suzanne was the California High Desert Prison located on the side of a mountain in an area with huge dust storms. Seemed to us like a very nice place for a prison. 

The scenery at the start of our trip was mountainous with beautiful trees and the end was desert. We saw two lakes that were at one time huge but are now dried up huge wasteland. 

Reno is another casino town in Nevada. On my birthday Duf took me for a spa morning. I got a fancy haircut and mani/pedi. The crazy thing was the stylist said I think your eyebrows are to long and she shaved them! They are not completely gone, but they are very short, my hope is that they grow out with some color because now they are really white! I asked if she could color them, but she said that they were to short to color! WOW how did they get so short!!! She did give me a nice haircut and the nails look great so it was a good morning.

 This is not what I think of when I think of California!
