To walk off our delicious lunch we headed to Salmon Ruins. Chaco Canyon is 45 miles away but their influence is evident in the Salmon Ruins. The Chacoans abandon this well built masonry pueblo by 1150 and then Mesa Verde people occupied it for around 50 years.

This site also housed old farm equipment from a company that is still in business today.
