When you can………….. be on the road again. We left Mark and Bettye’s beautiful Texas home around 1:00 to help avoid the rain that we could encounter. We missed the rain and were able to drive almost to Shreveport and spend the night at the Flying J. Our destination in the morning was to be the Tabasco Museum but after reading the negative reviews on Trip Advisor we have decided to skip this stop.

After a restful night we hit the road again at 9 AM. headed for New Orleans.  We drove for about two hours and then Jerry and Carole had two flat tires! We were stopped on Highway 49 and it took about four hours for them to get the tires fixed. Luckily no one was hurt and the coach did not suffer much damage. After the tire was fixed we traveled to Highway 10 and found a Walmart to spend the night in Breaux Bridge, LA.

While we were staying at Walmart we were watching Criminal Minds on TV and the killer was finding his victims on Highway 10! Will I be able to sleep tonight???
